Abstract. This review is devoted to the international scientific conference “From the Baltic to the Black Sea: Armenians in the cultural, economic and political processes”, held from October 14 to 18 in Yerevan, which was held with the support of the Foundation for the Development of Armenian-Armenian Studies and Research on Anti-Discrimination. The conference was co-organized by the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the History Department of Moscow State University, Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, Russian-Armenian University, Polish Academy of Sciences. Armenologists from Armenia, Argentina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine took part in the conference. The conference was held in four thematic sections. In total, more than 60 reports were heard, and the applications submitted underwent a strict selection procedure by the organizing committee. The conference participants were offered a broad cultural program, which included visits to ancient temples in Garni, Geghard, Khor Virap, Zvartnots, Echmiadzin, and an excursion to the S.Parajanov’s house-museum was also organized. The conference was held at a high academic level and aroused great public interest.
