Transformation of the Concept of War in the Modern World in the Context of the Project Approach

Abstract. The article examines the changes in the concept of war and its filling with new content in the conditions of a modern man-made society, as well as the related problems of manipulating nonlinear processes, creating zones of controlled chaos to achieve victory over the enemy on the battlefield. The article examines the war in virtual space as one of the aspects of hybrid warfare, analyzes the etymology of the term “virtuality” and its transformation in relation to modern conditions, the impact of virtual reality on the consciousness of society, as well as the use of this impact for military purposes and the transformation of virtual reality into a theater of military operations.
