Abstract. The review is devoted to the annual international scientific conference of the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies. This scientific event was held in April 2–4, 2016 in Fitzwilliam and Churchill colleges. Cambridge University acted as the organizer of the conference. The financial support was provided by the Routledge Press. Scholars from the leading scientific and educational centers of the world took part in the conference.
The conference was a three-day event, during which hundred and twenty five panel sessions and various actions were carried out on a wide range of aspects concerning the Slavonic and East European people and states.
