The Gates of Chronotopes. Treatise

Abstract. The concept of chronotope was defined by Mikhail Bakhtin as an essential interconnection of the temporary and spatial relations artistically assimilated by literature. This statement has a much bigger generality and can be used not only considering fiction, but also applied for the fine arts. The intellectual history studies the historical aspects  of all types of human creative activity, including its conditions, forms and results. What can a scholar of intellectual history comprehend, entering some or other gates of chronotopes? The treatise sums up some results of development and draws prospects for further development of interdisciplinary investigations in humanities. Various degrees  of a readiness of the productive research directions are described.
