Abstract. The article is a review of the All-Russian scientific conference with international participation “The Decembrists in the Historical Fate of Russia: On the 200th Anniversary of the Events on Senate Square in 1825–2025”, held in St. Petersburg on November 17–19, 2025. It was organized by the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the History of the Fatherland Foundation. The event was attended by more than 60 researchers from various regions of the Russian Federation, as well as researchers from Germany, Belarus, and Georgia. The conference participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the Decembrist movement and the 1825 uprising, as well as various aspects of the socio-political life of that era.
