Death/Immortality: About the Question of the Death in Russian Philosophy

Abstract. The theme of death in Russian philosophy takes a central place. Еhe problem of death is considered from the ethical point of view. From the standpoint of Russian philosophy death is shown as a manifestation of evil. And, accordingly, one of the most important aspects of this issue is the dialectic of death and immortality in Russian philosophy. The problem of death in the paper is considered in the context of the philosophical heritage of Nikolay Fedorov and Archimandrite Feofan (Avsenev). The topic of the research is up-to-date and not fully explored, despite its importance in the Russian philosophical culture.
