XVIII Century and its Reflection: X International Conference “XVIII Century in the Mirror of the Other Eras” (Moscow, 24–26 March, 2016)

Abstract. Overview deals with the results of the X International Scientific Conference “XVIII century as a mirror of the other eras; XVIII century in the mirror of the other eras”, which took place 24–26 March 2016 at the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University. The conference was attended by experts representing various fields of human knowledge: historians, philologists, philosophers, culture and art of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Germany, Russia, USA, Ukraine, and France. The presentations held at the scientific forum sessions, focused on different aspects of Western European and Russian culture of XVIII century and the reception of the Enlightenment heritage in the culture of modernity and postmodernity.
