Historian’s Age: to the Jubilee of Evgeny Fedorovich Krinko

Abstract. The article is devoted to the anniversary of the doctor of historical sciences, chief researcher of the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the editorial board of the scientific journal “Novoe Proshloe / The New Past” Evgeny Fedorovich Krinko. The article describes some milestones of professional life and formation of the scientist, his scientific interests, which are steadily concentrated on various problems of the history of the Great Patriotic War and early Soviet everyday life. The authors note the enviable personal and professional qualities of E. F. Krinko, who earned him the status of a recognized specialist and the deep respect of colleagues in the historical craft. The organizational talent of the hero of the day was also noted, thanks to which major scientific events are regularly held in the SSC RAS.
